You two are amazing! Can we get a big YIIIIIPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEE for them? It is no small thing to still be happy together and enjoy each other's company after 30 years. We have all been blessed to see your example of what a good marriage should look like.... just to name a few:
1) bedroom talks for any thing that small ears don't need to hear (or there is always Spanish in their case)
2) sympathy laughs for the other when no one else cracks up
3) doing something you normally wouldn't do just because you love them (Mom riding a Harley with leather and going to countless Chinese buffets and Dad going to BYU games and doing laundry and you both still come around your in-laws and try to love them)
4) daily acts of love and kindness (mom randomly buys him romantic cards and dad always makes sure that there is Diet Coke in the fridge)
5) accepting criticism and being honest (dad goes into mom's classroom and tells her about all the grammatical errors on her posters and pokes at her driving and mom makes comments about dad's belly when it is poking out of his shirt and his crooked hips and they both take it)
You have set the standard and we love you for showing us all how to love... Thanks for holding each other's hands in the car and not being scared to show affection. We think you are awesome. Only 20 more to go until the real big celebration. Enjoy the Canary Islands! We love you both. Congrats again... your posterity shows your real success.

About grammar, dad still gets mixed up with went and (right now I can't remember the other word). We do love each other. I expect that from each of you kids. You are all do an awesome job. Just don't harp at each other and give a 100%. If your lucky, your spouse won't remember the bad things you do, but that funny part of that is they probably won't be able to remember the good ones either. HAHA
