2008- Year of the rat
Since things are so cheap in China, I finally convinced Morgan that we should just get our toenails painted. This has kinda became a girls getaway late at night. We usually leave around 9 after the girls are down and just sit, relax, and read magazines while waiting for them to dry. The day that we got back from vacation, we headed out and it was the end of the Chinese New Year festival. Here are some pics of it...
I am not sure if you can really tell in this pic but those are some building and in the middle of them is a firework going off. They aren't the brightest crayon in the box.
Here is all of the lanterns that are hanging at the clubhouse of our apartment compound. They really go all out.
I was trying to kick the ball but I am not sure if Morgan got that... anyways... These are some ugly rat things that they put by the entrances since it is the year of the rat (please notice the tan from the beach:).

Wow, the lanterns are beautiful. So is the girl in all the pics. You can't see the tan that well in the dark. I had hoped the fireworks would be awesome.

Don't you love mom's random comments. I do! Happy New Year! Does that mean you have started your New Year's resolutions all over again, and the first ones don't count?
